Impact Implements™ 62" Landscape Rake with Tipper Latch

ATV Landscape Rake for Trails & Food Plots: Impact Implements 62"

A good ATV landscape rake handles more jobs than almost any other implement. The Impact Implements 62" Landscape Rake with Tipper Latch is the brand's best-selling landscape accessory, used to clear brush, rake woodland trails, prepare soil for food plots, knock down gopher mounds, rake horse arenas and thatch lawns.

What the 62" landscape rake is

This rake (SKU IP4456_BK) mounts behind an ATV, UTV, side-by-side, garden tractor or lawn tractor. Nineteen spring steel tines comb the ground across a 60" cutting path. The "Quick Pull" release latch lets the rake swing back so you can clean debris out of the tines without unbolting anything, which saves time when you are clearing sticks, leaves or grass.

Key features of the ATV landscape rake

  • Nineteen (19) replaceable spring steel rake tines
  • "Quick Pull" release latch swings the rake back for easy clean-out
  • Easy one-pin mounting with the included pin
  • Requires a 2" hitch receiver (not included) on the ATV/UTV/SxS
  • Works with the Impact Implements manual or Patented Hydraulic Lift System, CAT-0 3-point hitch or sleeve hitch (sold separately)

Specs

  • Dimensions: 62" W x 10.75" H x 7.75" D
  • Tines: 1" W x 10" H
  • Cutting path: 60" W
  • Weight: 65 lbs

What it mounts to

On an ATV or UTV, the 62" landscape rake attaches with a single pin to either the Impact Implements manual One-Point Lift System or the Patented HD hydraulic One-Point Lift System. Garden tractor owners can also run it on a CAT-0 3-point hitch or sleeve hitch. The lift lets you set how much pressure the tines put on the ground: light for leaves and thatch, heavier for loosening soil.

Around the farm and home, the same rake works for leveling horse arenas, knocking down gopher mounds, spreading loose material and thatching lawns. The tines are replaceable, so a worn or damaged tine can be swapped on its own rather than replacing the whole rake. Before each job, walk the area and pull out large rocks or stumps that could catch the tines.

Using a landscape rake for food plots and trails

For food plots, a rake is useful both before and after planting:

  • Clearing: Drag out sticks, leaves and dead thatch so seed can reach soil.
  • Light soil prep: In small or woodland plots, raking can scratch up the surface enough to broadcast small seed. Tecomate Shake & Rake is built around low-tech tillage like this for small, shaded spots.
  • Covering seed: After broadcasting, a light raking pass helps work seed into the surface.
  • Trail work: Rake woodland trails and shooting lanes to clear debris.
  • Firebreaks: Raking leaves and sticks off a strip of ground is a common first step when preparing a break around a field or plot.

Use the Quick Pull latch whenever the tines load up with debris; a clean rake works the ground evenly.

Pairs well with

For bigger plots, start with the Impact Implements disc harrow to break ground, then use the rake to smooth and clear. After seeding, the cultipacker firms the bed. Fall options like Tecomate Max-Attract are in our food plot seed collection, and every Impact Implement is in the Impact Implements collection.
